VAL-TOURS is a private company with its headquarters in Osijek, Croatia, which has been working successfully for the past 30 years. We, as a travel agency, are involved in all fields of tourism and transportation, from organization of local excursions, winter holidays, summer vacations and making all\u00a0 the necessary arrangements to execute specific tourist programs for Danube Cruise Liners and their groups of tourists (half-day, full day excursions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our work helps promoting Slavonija, Baranja  and Srijem region as well as the eastern part of Croatia, which is still quite unexplored, but in the same time very interesting tourist destination . We also have highly trained employees within our company \u2013 English, German and Croatian translators, foreign language correspondents and experienced tour guides who have been working for some time now with foreign guests. These are young people with broad knowledge and fluency in English and German languages. Furthermore, all of them are communicative and consistently receive excellent feedback by our guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also own modern high quality coaches (Mercedes, Man brands), with approximately 50 seats per bus, air-condition, WC, TV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, we are highly motivated and ready to face new challenges. We are familiar with local customs and with the history of the region, which can be shown trough a high quality presentation. Everything mentioned above has been proven with positive feedback from our guests in the season 2023. Specifically we had more than 500.000 guests in the previous season, who have visited this region while travelling with the Danube Cruise Liners. They found this region to be more than beautiful and have graded our work and effort with excellent reviews.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We have specialized in organizing home-hosted lunches, where our guests have an opportunity to have a meal and share company with average, but very hospitable Croatian families. This was found to be the highlight of their day. Our guests also have the opportunity to try out the local specialties, namely \u0160ljivovica<\/em> -Plum Brandy. Beside the lunch and the company our guests also have an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful countryside, since this region is home to one of the richest bird sanctuaries in this part of Europe, Kopa\u010dki Rit<\/em>. This is a wetlands area situated in the very place where Drava River meets the Danube, and is home, or a part-time home, to more than 200 bird species.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biggest city of the region is Osijek<\/em>, a small city with rich cultural and historical heritage. The heart of the city is Tvr\u0111a<\/em> – The Fortress, an 18-century fort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The region is also famous for its wines and Wine Roads. Beautiful hilly parts surround this otherwise flat part of Croatia, and there are many wine cellars that produce excellent white wines along this road. We had very positive experience from organizing this kind of visits in the past, so we can also organize it in the future, since we are in very good cooperation with the local wine makers. We can also spice things up even more with some tamburica music, dancing and singing alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The whole program and its logistics are fully by our office administrators who can organize programs, coaches, home-hosted visits, lectures about Croatia and other services which are available per request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
